The Ancient Forest Alliance (AFA) is a new British Columbian organisation working to protect the endangered old-growth forests of BC and ensure sustainable forestry jobs in the province. The AFA will be assisting in our efforts by publicising our campaign in the media, greatly increasing the support for our ride.

Good quality binoculars are essential to seeing the key features of confusing birds, such as the shorebirds, warblers and sparrows that abound in North America. Swarovski Optik has kindly provided us with a pair of binoculars, ensuring even more birds will be found, and therefore raising a greater amount of money for old-growth forest conservation.

Jared is regarded as one of North America's top wildlife photographers, and his collection of amazing photos capture the lives of animals that have rarely, if ever, been photographed before. Through Jared's images we can now show our readers exactly what it is we are striving to save!

Bird-O is a website about birds and birding in Australia that aim to make birding in Australia more accessible to all who live in or visit Australia. Bird-O will be following our journey, and we hope to give their Aussie readers pictures, podcasts and stories about our experiences birding across Canada in return.
